GRMLN - ‘Coral’

‘Coral’ is a cool nugget of guitar-based dream pop from California’s GRMLN.

GRMLN is the project of 19 year old wonderkid Yoodoo Park who was born in Japan but raised in California. Currently a student at Univeristy of California Santa Cruz, it is clear where he gets his inspiration from. We’ve never been to Santa Cruz but this is exactly how we imagine it sounds like.

The track is taken from the LP ‘Explore’ which is available from those good eggs Carpark Records on October 23rd. 

Summer Schatzies - ‘Makin’ Out’

‘Makin’ Out’ is a cracking bit of shit amp beachpop from Budapest’s Summer Schatzies.

We know very little about these guys other than it’s beautifully lo-fi, it sounds ace and the band claim to write their songs in five minutes. High five for that.

Little Smoke - ‘Shenandoah’

Little Smoke are a brand new surf/garage pop outfit out of Richmond, Virginia.

The band released their debut EP ‘On Holidays’ last week. The EP is summed up beautifully by the title; it’s laid back summery vibes would provide the perfect soundtrack to any holiday (excluding skiing holidays).

‘On Holidays’ is available on BANDCAMP now, but you better start saving because it will set you back 1 whole dollar.

The Paellas - ‘Following’

More top surf-pop has surfaced on SOUNDCLOUD from Osaka’s The Paellas. ‘Following’ comes from the upcoming 3 track web EP of the same name.

A bit surf, a bit lo-fi and a bit shoegaze, The Paellas brand of ‘Nitetime Surf-pop’ really floats our boat. All aboard!

Tropical Popsicle - ‘Universe of God Shadow’

‘Universe of God Shadow’ from San Diego’s Tropical Popsicle will feature on the dreampoppers’ upcoming debut LP.

’..God Shadow’ was also been featured in the surf-film ‘A Distant Shore: A Surf Odyssey to the End of the Earth’.

The as yet untitled album will be released by Volar! Records this Autumn. 

Evans The Death - ‘Telling Lies’

‘Telling Lies’ is the first single from Slumberland’s latest signing Evans The Death’s upcoming S/T album.

Alright, alright we know. This song surfaced on Soundcloud 21 days ago! get over it, we’ve posted it now! Even Jesus missed the occasional blog now and then.

Gunns - ‘Pigeon in the Pond’

Everyone knows Fuzzbook loves finding music from around the world (you didnt? we thought everyone knew that!) well, by jingo we have just found an ace band from everyones second favourite country in the Southern Hemisphere, Australia.

Gunns are an experimental fuzz/surf pop band from Perth. Its all very chilled out and breezy, perfect to listen to after a good episode of Home and Away.
