‘You Won (or, We Have All Lost)’ is the debut EP from Virginia based lo-folkers Blood Cousin.

‘Theme of the Raven’ is taken from the EP which borders the thin red, white and blue line between Americana and dark folk. The 4 tracks are distantly dreamy, kind of like what I imagine an EP recorded by a ghost might sound like.

The EP is available to stream now courtesy of the excellent FURIOUS HOOVES and will be available via download or CD soon.

&lt;a href=”http://furioushooves.bandcamp.com/album/you-won-or-we-have-all-lost” data-mce-href=”http://furioushooves.bandcamp.com/album/you-won-or-we-have-all-lost”&gt;You Won (or, We Have All Lost) by Blood Cousin&lt;/a&gt;

Kid Chocolate - 'DOGG'

Rhode Island garagers Kid Chocolate assured me in their email that their new album ‘Mellow Fantasy’ was perfect for Fuzzbook.
They won the fuzzbook album of the year prize last year and it looks like they are carrying on the form with the excellent ‘Forget Me’.

7” is coming via Burger on June 25th.

Wyatt Blair - 'Money, Honey'

Smith Westerns have unleashed upon another great new track from their upcoming album ‘Soft Will’.

The band dropped (that’s what youths call unveiling) ‘3am Spiritual’ this week on Soundcloud. It’s a bit softer and a little more atmospheric than Dye It Blonde but I think just as good, if not better. Two high fives for that Westerns.

‘Soft Will’ will be released on June 25th via Co-Op.

Books of Love - ‘Space Time’

Great stuff.

Download the EP for free from BANDCAMP now.

<a href=”http://vrreeb.bandcamp.com/track/orange” data-mce-href=”http://vrreeb.bandcamp.com/track/orange”>Orange by Vrreeb</a>

Gunns - 'Leaving Home'

I’ve spent the last 30 minutes scouring the internet for the best fuzzy beach track I could find (as usual) and hot dog! we have a weiner! Perth popsters Gunns.

‘Leaving Home’ is great whirly fuzzy catchy number that I can see being a permant fixture on my personal playlists for some moons to come. Lovely stuff.

‘Leaving Home’ and the more garagey B-side ‘Even if the Sun Goes Down’ (great too) feature on a recently released 7” which you can get at BANDCAMP now.

<a href=”http://gunns.bandcamp.com/album/leaving-home” data-mce-href=”http://gunns.bandcamp.com/album/leaving-home”>Leaving Home by Gunns</a>

WANDERLINGS - ‘TWO CASUAL’

WANDERLINGS - ‘TWO CASUAL’

Perfect Hair Forever - 'O.K. It's Gone'

‘O.K. It’s Gone’ is some new blasting brat-pop from New Zealander Perfect Hair Forever.

The track is taken from the new album ‘Puker’. At 2mins 2 secs, it’s the 2nd longest track on the album which seems to play at around 200 miles per hour. It sounds to me like a teenage Ramones recording tracks whilst on Oblivion at Alton Towers (on the way down).

‘Puker’ is released today on CD and download via CRYSTAL MAGIC RECORDS.

<a href=”http://crystalmagic.bandcamp.com/track/o-k-its-gone” data-mce-href=”http://crystalmagic.bandcamp.com/track/o-k-its-gone”>O.K. Be warned, as soon as you press play this songs comes at you like a Brett Lee fast beamer.

Velociraptor is a 12 piece featuring Sean and Simon from DZ Deathrays. What all 12 of them do in the band I can’t really work out but who cares, they are ace.

The cover art is one of the best I’ve seen for a while, really cool. Hats off to HEART THROB RECORDS who are releasing 100 copies of the tape on 20th May.

<a href=”http://heartthrobrecords.bandcamp.com/track/walk-on-by” data-mce-href=”http://heartthrobrecords.bandcamp.com/track/walk-on-by”>Walk On By by Velociraptor</a>
