Velociraptor - ‘Walk On By’

‘Walk On By’ is the new track from Aussie fuzz-troop Velociraptor. Be warned, as soon as you press play this songs comes at you like a Brett Lee fast beamer.

Velociraptor is a 12 piece featuring Sean and Simon from DZ Deathrays. What all 12 of them do in the band I can’t really work out but who cares, they are ace.

The cover art is one of the best I’ve seen for a while, really cool. Hats off to HEART THROB RECORDS who are releasing 100 copies of the tape on 20th May.

The Babies - ‘Mess Me Around’

Fuzzbook hearts The Babies. They are on tour now. Check the dates HERE.

Kins - ‘Post Tropical Storm’

Huzzah, Brighton popaholics Kins have released 4 new tracks for free via their SOUNDCLOUD page.

The tracks are posted on a self-titled set. I don’t know whether these tracks will feature on the forthcoming debut LP which is expected this year but hopefully they will because as always with Kins these are some excellent sounds.

Oh yeah, and if you like these tracks remember to catch Kins at this years Great Escape.

Keebo - ‘Native American’

Here’s the new Video for this ace track from London girlsome Keebo.

The Sweets - ‘Coffee in the Morning’

I make no secrets about what I like and listen to, and probably no.1 on the list is lo-fi garage-pop, which brings me to The Sweets.

The boys are back with their 6th EP of the year (yes, 6th!) ‘Some Pulp’. That’s what garage is about, whacking out great tracks by worryng about making the songs ace rather than the snazzy production, The Sweets have it down to a tee. ‘Coffee in the Morning’ is a near-perfect pool party track.

Pandercakes - ‘Compassion Fatigue’

‘Compassion Fatigue’ features on a new split 7” between Pussy Wizard and South Carolina dream-pop 4-piece Pandercakes.

Pandercakes seem to mash together a massive variety of different sounds and techniques to form super ace tracks that work perfectly, These guys sound pretty unique, hats off,to them.

Just Handshakes - ‘Say It’

The Beets - ‘Doing as I Do’

Cool new vid for ‘Doing as I Do’ from the album ‘Let the Poison Out’. The Beets are also back touring this month and next, US only at the moment though :(

Check out the dates HERE.

Tripwires - ‘Catherine, I Feel Sick’

‘Catherine, I feel sick’ is the first peak at the new album ‘Spacehopper’ from Reading’s best fuzz export Tripwires.

It’s a great hazey little number. If I was going to be circling the earth in a rocket anytime soon, this would definitely be second on my trip playlist (Space Oddity would be no.1 obviously).

‘Spacehopper’ is to be released by FRENCHKISS on June 17th. Whoop.

Sight Seeing - ‘Crushed’

Brooklyn’s dreamy fuzzsters Sight Seeing are back from a 2 year hiatus with a great new demo called ‘Crushed’.

It’s pretty much the first sunny day this year here in England and what better way to celebrate than spinning this awesome breezy pop corker.
