Terry Malts - 'Something About You'
‘Something About You’ is a great video from California chainsaw poppers Terry Malts (They are a 3-piece, not actually a guy called Terry) The video is a bit mental because the song plays throughout however alot of the video its just in the background, interesting though, very interesting. The track comes from the bands new album ‘Killing Time’ which is available now...

Girls on the Beach - 'Firerock'
This is ‘Firerock’ by Orlando garage poppers Girls on the Beach. The track comes from their 2 track self-titled EP released from their Bandcamp page in January. Sometimes when we like a track we try to find out more but there just isnt any information around, unfortunately this is one of those cases, I guess we will just have to find out more when it happens....

Borders - 'Morning Sun'
This is the video for Morning Sun by Borders (No, not the popular ex-bookshop chain). Borders is a one-man band from Fuzzbook’s current favourite European (excluding UK) city Barcelona. From what we hear Borders only have one song out at the moment, but its a beaut we reckon.  Viva Spanish Fuzz!

Lizzie and the Yes Men - 'You and I Both Know'
East London’s Lizzie and The Yes Men describe themselves as Tarantino Surf Pop and its easy to tell why from their video ‘You and I Both Know’. We think the video is a lovely companion to the Tarantino Surf Pop theme. Lovely Stuff.  They have been around the block for a few months now having played a few good venues such as The Hoxton Bar and XOYO. We think they are going to...

The Tough Shits - 'Cats & Dogs'
Its no secret that we at Fuzzbook love Burger Records and by george we think they have done it again. Their latest release (with Colonel Records) is The Tough Shits’ debut LP and from what we have heard it is mental good. The Tough Shits provide a surf pop sandwich where one piece of bread is great melodies and the other piece of bread is catchy riffs and the filling is ….good songs...

Modern Charms - 'When We Get There'
Whos interested in some Thursday evening dream pop? Good, we have just the thing, it’s ‘When we get there’ from San Francisco’s Modern Charms. Campfires - 'Slow Blown Limbs'
Who’s up for some uber lo-fi? The answer is us! This is ‘Slow Blown Limbs’ by Portland, Oregons’ Campfires. It sounds like it was recorded on a toaster by that’s also what we love about it because it still sounds wizard. The track comes from their December 2011 EP ‘Slaughter Tropes’ which can be bought on their bandcamp here...

Pinata! - 'Tambourine'
Whoa! stop the press! We have just found our new favourite Spanish band in the world. Barcelona’s Pinata! are the best thing to come out of Spain since sliced bread. Unfortunately, we can only find the two songs they did for the ‘MAX split’ split album with Telephones Rouges on Mama Vynila Records, but they are 2 bloody good songs so we don’t care.  Tambourine is one of...

Emergency Bible Study - Album 1
We’ll be honest we know hardly anything about Emergency Bible Study, other than they are quite mental going by their twitter. One thing for sure is that there first album is excellent, we really bum it, they remind us of those krazy kids from Arcade Fire. Have a listen below, we think they have a lorra lorra lot of potential.

The Creakies - 'Redwood EP'
Still being quite new to the game, Fuzzbook loves it when bands send us their stuff, but we love it even more when we actually like the stuff. Seattle’s noisepop duo The Creakies’s new EP ‘Redwood’ landed in our inbox, and we bloody like it we do. It’s very simple fuzzpop, but that is exactly what Fuzzbook likes, and (hopefully) Fuzzbook readers. Go on give them a...

Outer Minds - 'Conversation'
Chicago’s Outer Minds are to release their first full length album on Southpaw Records off the back of their successful singles on Hozac. ‘Conversation’ from the self-titled album is a lovely piece of 60s inspired fuzz. Eagulls - 'Possessed'
This is ‘Possessed’ by Leeds shoegazers Eagulls. Eagulls have been making a name for themselves for about a year now, having been praised by other fuzz favourites Yuck and Mazes. ‘Possesed’ is from the band’s joint release with Mazes (see above) on Italian Beach Baes Records and its a belter. Hunx - 'Always Forever'
Huzzah! ‘Always Forever’ is the first solo video from Hunx, who you may know from his band Hunx and his Punx.  Hunx was once described as making ‘hairdresser pop’, although, like Hunx himself, we are not really sure what that means, we do think its is somehow apt, it just fits doesnt it? Hunx’s debut solo album ‘Hairdresser Blues’ is out 28th February...

The Band in Heaven - 'HoZac 7'''
‘Hozac 7”’ is the latest release from WestPalm Beach’s The Band in Heaven. The EP has a classic shoegazey sound that reminds me of early Black Rebel Motocycle Club. Jack Cooper - 'Sugar Magnolia'
This is the excellent ‘Sugar Magnolia’ which is our favourite (but they are all great) track from ‘Art is Cheap’ by Jack Cooper. Jack, who is also 1/4 of ‘Mazes’ wrote and recorded 35 amazing lo-fi songs for the album (not all are on it obvs.) and we think its a gem. The album was released in November by Art is Hard Records who are fastly becoming one of our...

Way Yes - 'Walkability'
Columbus Ohio’s dorky banana pop trio Way Yes, are releasing their debut album ‘Walkability’ next month via Lefse Records. Although the music sounds like it is made with toys, we don’t see that as a bad thing, in fact it is a good thing because the songs we have heard sound fan-blooming-tastic. Lefse Records who released one of our favourite albums of last year...
