Yes Yes! New tracks have arrived from Allah Las. The Cali throwback foursome are releasing a 7” featuring 2 new tracks ‘Every Girl’ and ‘Had It All’.
The bad news for UKers is that this is a tour only release, except for buying straight from INNOVATIVE LEISURE which will be costly. It doesnt look like they are coming back any time soon so this could be a super fans only release.
'Alligator' is the latest track from Boston beach poppers Winter.
I was a big fan of Winters debut EP ‘Daydreaming’ which came out at the end of last year but much to my surprise ‘Alligator’ sees the band take it up another notch still. A little more catchy and a little more clever guitar work than their previous tracks makes this a perfect end of the summer ditty.
Sauna Heat - 'Singles 2012' << Cassette Store Day 2013
Yup, you guessed it (probably) Fuzzbook is getting in on the Cassette Store Day 2013 action. To celebrate the aceness of tapes on this prestigious day, we will be releasing a singles collection from Sauna Heat.
Being one of the most prolific bands around last year, there were many rip-roaring stonkers to choose from, the limited blue cassette will contain 8 of the best.
'Singles 2012' will be released for Cassette Store Day on 7th September 2013. Limited to 50.
To pre-order a tape head on over to our trusty BANDCAMP page now. They only cost a measly £3.50 so you have no excuse no to yeah.
Oxford’s top lo-fiers Beta Blocker and the Body Clock are back with 5 new blockbusters on upcoming EP ‘Inside The Pickle Jar’.
I’ve been looking forward to a new EP from BBATBC for a while since laying my ears upon their brilliant debut tape ‘Courtside Baby’ last year. The new EP surpasses the last on almost every level, it’s great.
Note to self: Add this to your tape of the year shortlist.
Download or pre-order the cassette from Reeks of Effort’s BANDCAMP now.
Artist Molly Soda has penned the brand new zine to go with Miami DIYer Whorish Boorish’s latest EP ‘Bubbles’.
The zine EP comes via London’s Crumb Cabin who are set to release a whole series of Zine collaborations between artists and musicians, which believe you me is going to include many fuzzbook favourites, so you lot should definitely keep an eye out at CRUMB CABIN
Feeling the heat today? Good, me too. You’ll like this one then. ‘Comets’ is a belter from the new self-titled EP by Virginia Beach’s Ladada.
This is a track that I think will be perfect for any situation. Sunny weekend, rainy Tuesday, house party, cross country road trip. You name it, this is probably the correct track for the situation. Fuzz Hat is off to Ladada.
More good news, you can stream and DL this and the rest of the self-titled EP now from BANDCAMP.
'Buds' is the debut tape from Nevada's fuzz duo Surf Curse released by BIG JOY RECORDS.
'In My Head Till I'm Dead' is a fast-passed bish bash bosh bit of brilliant beach pop with a great little catchy chorus. (I <3 alliteration). The whole 10-track album is crammed full of pumping dittys like this.
'You Won (or, We Have All Lost)' is the debut EP from Virginia based lo-folkers Blood Cousin.
'Theme of the Raven' is taken from the EP which borders the thin red, white and blue line between Americana and dark folk. The 4 tracks are distantly dreamy, kind of like what I imagine an EP recorded by a ghost might sound like.
The EP is available to stream now courtesy of the excellent FURIOUS HOOVES and will be available via download or CD soon.
Smith Westerns have unleashed upon another great new track from their upcoming album ‘Soft Will’.
The band dropped (that’s what youths call unveiling) ‘3am Spiritual’ this week on Soundcloud. It’s a bit softer and a little more atmospheric than Dye It Blonde but I think just as good, if not better. Two high fives for that Westerns.
'Soft Will' will be released on June 25th via Co-Op.
'Sheriff' is one of 5 throwback garage-pop ditties from Fruit Tones' latest split 'The Hamlovers EP'.
Fruit Tones have combined forces on the tape with Temple Songs’ latest project The Pink Teens, also from Manchester and guess what? together they have made one uber-cool tape of the year candidate. Ace!
